Local business owner Adrian Deslongrais has supported the winning team at Charterhouse School’s Entrepreneurship Competition, mentoring a team of students, Bodeites, with their product, Podiums, to create, develop and pitch their own unique business plans to a panel of veteran entrepreneurs. Adrian, who attended Charterhouse himself and is the co-founder and COO of Godalming based data centre provider Aegis Data, provided his expertise and knowledge gained over 25 years in business.
Podiums is an innovative platform fashion trainer, with a lock-and-slide mechanism to enable customers to change the height and design of the sole. The shoes will be sold with many options for buyers to purchase additional soles. This customisation and flexibility sets Podiums apart in what is already a crowded market-place, giving the team a real opportunity to develop this creative idea into a successful business.
